Doha, Qatar: Qatar has strongly condemned the heinous Iranian aggression on the sisterly state of Kuwait that saw attack on military camp, a power station and a water desalination plant.
The assault resulted in the death of an Indian worker and injuries among members of armed forces.

Kuwait air defenses dealt with 13 drones in past 24 hours
Kuwait's Defense Ministry announced on Monday that it had detected and dealt with 13 hostile drones in the past 24 hours, targeting a power and water desalination plant. During a media briefing, the Ministry's Spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said that a worker was killed during a drone attack on the power facility, in addition to serious material damage at the building.
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy had announced that a worker was killed during an Iranian drone attack on a service building at a power and water distillation plant.

The Ministry of Defense of the State of Qatar stated that the country was targeted by an attack involving a number of drones launched from Iran earlier today, March 30, 2026. Sri Lanka raises electricity costs by up to 40 percent
Sri Lanka announced on Monday a nearly 40 percent increase in electricity prices from Wednesday as it battles an energy shortage caused by the conflict in the Middle East. The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka said further increases were likely in April, in-line with global energy prices.

UAE Air Defenses intercept missiles and drones launched from Iran
The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Defense has said its air defenses intercepted 11 ballistic missiles and 27 drones over the country on Monday, which it said were launched from Iran. In a statement, the ministry said that since the start of "brazen Iranian attacks", UAE air defenses have intercepted 425 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles and 1,941 drones.

Jordan says it intercepted missiles and drone launched from Iran
Jordan's armed forces have intercepted five missiles and a drone targeting the country within the past 24 hours, authorities said. In a statement on Monday, the Jordanian military said its air defenses successfully shot down all incoming projectiles, which they said were launched from Iran.
Meanwhile, the Public Security Directorate reported that a woman was injured after missile debris fell into the courtyard of her home in central Jordan. Read more

GCC Secretary-General condemns Iran's attack on Kuwaiti Armed Forces camp
Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi strongly condemned Iran's attack on a Kuwaiti Armed Forces camp, which resulted in the injury of 10 personnel. He described the attack as "brutal" and a "blatant" indication of Iran's hostile intent towards the State of Kuwait and the GCC member states.
Al Budaiwi said the assault on Kuwait's military facilities constitutes a grave violation of the country's sovereignty and represents a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.

Spain shuts airspace for US planes involved in Iran war
Spain has barred US military aircraft involved in strikes on Iran from using its airspace, expanding earlier restrictions on access to jointly operated bases, Defence Minister Margarita Robles said.
“We don’t authorise either the use of military bases or the use of airspace for actions related to the war in Iran,” she told reporters in Madrid.
The move forces US aircraft to reroute, though emergency flights remain exempt.
Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo said the decision reflects Spain’s refusal to back a war launched unilaterally and “against international law”.

Hundreds of fuel stations remain closed in Philippines
More than 300 petrol stations have shut in the Philippines, government monitors said, as the country faces fuel supply constraints due to the ongoing US-Israel war on Iran, reported Al Jazeera.
According to the Philippine National Police’s monitoring, 365 stations are closed as of today.
Fuel prices have more than doubled across the country since the war started on February 28.

One dead in brutal Iranian attack on power and water facility in Kuwait
Kuwait announced that a service building at a power station and water distillation facility was targeted by a brutal Iranian attack, resulting in the death of one Indian national.
In a statement, official spokesperson for the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Fatima Jawhar Hayat, said that technical and emergency teams immediately began response operations in line with approved contingency plans to address the incident's impact and ensure continued operational efficiency, while maintaining full coordination with security and relevant authorities to secure the affected sites.
She urged the public to remain calm, avoid rumors, and rely on official sources for information, affirming that updates will continue to be provided transparently. She stressed that the safety and stability of the electricity and water systems remain a top priority.
This comes within 24 hours of an attack on one of its military camps, that saw ten members of the armed forces injured
Ministry's official spokesperson, Colonel Saud Al Atwan, said during a press briefing on Sunday, that Kuwaiti armed forces detected and intercepted 14 hostile ballistic missiles and 12 hostile drones within the country's airspace over the past 24 hours.
He added that the attack targeted one of the armed forces’ camps with several missiles and drones, resulting in injuries to 10 personnel and material damage to the site, noting that the wounded are receiving necessary treatment.
He further said that a warehouse belonging to a private logistics company was also struck, causing material damage only, with no reported casualties. He added that since the start of the aggression on February 28, a total of 307 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 616 drones have been detected.
