Doha: The Internal and External Affairs Committee of the Shura Council, headed by H E Abdulla bin Fahad Al Marri, held yesterday a meeting with the Turkish Grand National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee, chaired by H E Akif Cagatay Kilic.
During the meeting, they reviewed parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and the Turkish Grand National Assembly, and ways to support and develop them.
They also touched on the joint coordination between the two parties in regional and international parliamentary activities, as well as a number of issues of common interest.
HE Nasser bin Ahmed Al Maliki, H E Abdul Rahman bin Yusuf Al Khulaifi, H E Dahlan bin Jaman Al Hamad, H E Mohammed bin Mahdi Al Ahbabi, members of the Committee, attended the meeting. Also, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Qatar H E Dr. Mustafa Goksu attended the meeting.
