Doha, Qatar: In light of the decision to suspend in-person learning at schools, announced on February 28, 2026, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education announced the distance learning schedule for government and private schools in Qatar.
Primary stage schools will be from 10am to 12:35pm, while preparatory and secondary stage schools will be run from 10:30am to 1:15pm. Meanwhile the private schools are expected to adjust their academic schedules flexibly to ensure the prescribed number of schooling hours for this period is completed.
The schedule applies to the upcoming week from March 8 to March 12, 2026.
It also added, "Live broadcast classes in public and private schools will be held through official educational platforms, in accordance with the approved schedules in each school."
