Washington: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani met on Friday with Vice President of the United States of America HE J.D. Vance in Washington.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close strategic cooperation between the State of Qatar and the United States of America and ways to support and strengthen it in various fields.
The two sides also discussed the latest developments in the region and the Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at de-escalating tensions in a way that contributes to enhancing security and stability in the region.
During the meeting, HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of all parties responding to ongoing mediation efforts to address the root causes of the crisis through peaceful means and dialogue, leading to a sustainable agreement that prevents renewed escalation.
