Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Racing & Equestrian Club (QREC) will host the 5th Doha International Arabian Horse Show from 19 to 22 December 2025.
The competitions will be held in the main arena of the Qatar Equestrian Federation and will feature 222 horses, representing four countries: Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain.
Qualifying competitions for colts, fillies, mares and stallions will be contested over the first three days of the Show, with the final day dedicated to the championships to determine the overall champions across the participating classes.
Gold, silver and bronze medals will be awarded at the conclusion of each championship.Prize money for each championship is set at QR120,000 for first place, QR90,000 for second and QR70,000 for third. The total prize fund for the Show stands at QR3.915m distributed across the various class competitions as well as the championship finals.
Among the prominent participating studs from Qatar are Al Shaqab Stud, Al Sraiya Stud, Al Khor Stud, Al Jaham Stud, Al Amer Stud, Al Yaqoub Stud and Umm Al Adham Stud. International participation includes Al Khawolid Stud, Nasser bin Khaled Nasser Aludail and Rayan Alsayqalfrom Saudi Arabia, Mohamed Ahmed Alhayki and Abdulla Al-Mudahka from Bahrain and Talal Al Rashidi and Al Shuraian & Al Rasman Stud from Kuwait.
