Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department has released an update on the expected weather for the first and second days of Eid Al-Adha.
On the first day of Eid, May 27, the weather will be hot to very hot, with temperatures varying between 31°C and 43°C. Winds will be mainly Southwesterly to Northwesterly at 5-15 knots, with gusts reaching up to 24 knots during the daytime. Sea height is forecast at 2-4ft, rising to 6ft at times, with visibility ranging between 5 and 9km.
Meanwhile, on May 28, the second day of Eid, the department has issued a warning for high offshore waves. The weather will be hot, with northwesterly winds at 5-15 knots and gusts reaching up to 23 knots during the day time. Sea height will be 2-4ft, rising to 7ft at times, the visibility will be 5-9km.
Individuals are advised to take the forecast into consideration when planning their Eid activities.
